The sleek, compact E1B-MV is designed as a backup light that is also a tremendous everyday-carry light for almost any application.

Its virtually indestructible, digitally regulated LED delivers 400 lumens of blinding light on high and five lumens of light at its low setting. The LED and proprietary reflector create our MaxVision Beam®, a valuable wall of light that fills in the space around you. And it produces tactical light output for 1.25 hours and 50 hours of low light output at 5 lumens on a single SureFire lithium battery.

The Backup’s design is as functional as it is attractive. Its hard-anodized aluminium body features smooth styling, and a two-way pocket clip allows the light to be carried bezel up or down.

Its tailcap switch features SureFire’s patented lockout feature and is programmed to deliver maximum output on the first cycle, a beneficial function in tactical or self-defence situations.
